Phillip Eichensehr

Mr. Eichensehr is one of the most sought-after leaders and technical experts in space systems, ISR architectures, and new technologies advancing U.S. national security programs.

Mr. Eichensehr is Vice President of Aerospace Engineering for DigitalGlobe/RadiantBlue (DG|R). He has over two decades of experience in the aerospace defense industry and has been with RadiantBlue for over ten years.

DG|R performs modeling, simulation, and analysis of satellite and airborne sensor and data collection systems to support technology assessment, system upgrade, prototype, and full-scale space systems development and operations. Mr. Eichensehr is the author of the BlueSim Aerospace ISR Simulator. BlueSim allows high-fidelity analysis of spacecraft, aircraft, communications networks, and integrated processing systems. BlueSim allows government and industry partners both the ability to evaluate total ISR system architectures and design individual collectors. BlueSim models national, commercial, and foreign systems. BlueSim is utilized across the Intelligence Community, Joint Staff, In-Q-Tel, and commercial sector as the “go-to” high fidelity simulator of choice.

Mr. Eichensehr previously worked for Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and General Dynamics. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
